The state and other agencies are making sure people within this population are well taken care of by taking them off the streets, providing them medical care, psychiatric care and linking them to community resources that best suit their needs.
The government can not do all these without the help of other responsible individuals and agencies. The state signs contracts with other parties who are licences to provide services to this vulnerable population. This Agencies and the services they provide to cater for the needs of these people are numerous. The state provides licences to different categories of agencies.
State Agencies such as the department in coordination with other providers grant licenses to all the above treatment establishments. Random audits are done by the state to check if these establishments are providing the services they are tasked with. If they fail to comply, they are fined, shutdown and or required to correct the errors found at the facilities during the inspection and audit.
This is were we come in to fix the faults by doing a plan of correction so the agency remains in compliance and stay in business.
